黄尾狮之前介绍过了。黑喉石狗公的喉咙跟肚子都是黑色的，属于深海海钓的高级鱼种。烧烤时有螃蟹的味道、清蒸时有蛤蜊味道、做刺身时有薄薄的柚子香味。但若做刺身要4斤以上的才好吃，且因其生食肉质叫坚硬，建议以油漬法处理后切薄片食用。
